Did you know GPS position quality is largely impacted by space weather? Solar flares and geomagnetic storms caused by the sun can alter the accuracy and availability of correction signals that we use in precision agriculture. The WAAS correction signal is among the most noticeably impacted by solar storms. If you are having issues with your GPS signal, try checking the space weather forecast link below for your region. If the space weather forecast shows minimal interference in your region and you are still having issues getting a strong and/or consistent signal, please contact Lucas at 403 308 6305 (cell) or 403 327 1100 (office) as it is likely a fixable issue.
